Aperture
Aperture is a frame with an adjustable hole through which light enters into the camera diaphragm. In general, aperture is set with respect to the shutter speed and vice-versa.
Tips
- In a dark light condition, aperture is opened to a higher end and respectively lower end in a bright light condition.
- To achieve good details, set the aperture at the lower end and shutter speed should also be set at the lower level. Over and above this, do not forget to use a tripod stand.
- Normally aperture is set between 3.5” and 11” (That is, 1/3.5 – 1/11), but in manual/program mode (Provided in professional/semi-professional cameras) you can set it at your own.
